Is my car insured while it’s on your tow truck?

YES. Your vehicle or equipment is insured from the start to the end of the auto tow job. Our professional drivers will take great care of your vehicle throughout the process but insurance just adds that extra piece of mind.

If you take my car to a holding yard, will it be secure?

YES. We have 2 police-authorized, secure holding yards in Brisbane. At both of these yards, your car will be protected by security and surveillance cameras. That’s one less thing you need to worry about.

Do you have EFTPOS available?

YES. All trucks have EFTPOS on board. If you’ve only got credit or debit cards with you, that’s perfectly fine. Your driver can take payment on the spot.

Can I pay the driver over the phone?

YES. If you’re taking care of the auto tow payment but won’t physically be with the vehicle, your driver can process the payment while you’re on the phone using the on-board EFTPOS terminal.

If my vehicle is insured and I’m in an accident, do I have to pay for the tow truck?

NO. Rudd’s Towing are approved by all insurance companies across Brisbane (all across QLD, actually!). So, if you’ve been in an accident and order a tow truck through us, we’ll send the bill directly to your insurance company.
